HOW TO VIEW GOOGLE MAP IN OFFLINE

                           Google maps is one of the best options, when we need to find directions, addresses and location routes. We can access Google maps from any part of the world, as long as we have access to an active Internet connection.
                            But if we want to access Google maps in offline means we have to save some important locations in Google maps and want to view them.
                           GmapCatcher – a free utility which lets you download Google Maps in your computer for offline viewing. The application also supports Yahoo Maps, OpenStreetMap, Cloudmade, InformationFreeway, OpenCycleMap, Virtual Earth etc.

                          Install GmapCatcher  application and run it. Type the name of the city which you want to find in Google Maps and the program will ask permission for going in to the “Online” mode.

                                   Click “Yes” and the map will be fetched inside the GmapCatcher application window:

                                Then, click the download button and GmapCatcher will start downloading the map in your computer. The latitude, longitude, area and zoom settings will be saved along with the image of the map.

                              After the completion your download, you can view the map in Gmapcatcher without requiring an internet connection. Start the program and click the arrow icon to know which locations are saved in your computer.

                          GmapCatcher is one of the best offline maps viewer and it supports multiple mapping sites. GMapCatcher is written in Python 2.6, can run on Linux, Windows and Mac OSX.
